Color enters like a whisper after a long night of monochrome. A shirt slipping from the shoulder, a gaze turned inward. Vulnerability here is not exposure, but atmosphere — a quiet room where thoughts echo louder than voices.

In each flower, I find a paradox—strength entwined with fragility, the eternal within the fleeting.
One of my greatest icons is Diane Arbus. Though her life ended tragically in 1971 at the age of 48, her work continues to echo through the world of photography and art. With stark black-and-white images, she revealed people in the raw truth of their own spaces, daring us to confront and reconsider our ideas of beauty and normalcy.
I, too, create where I live. My studio in the Westbeth Artist Community surrounds me with inspiration, much as Arbus once found in her own world. Yet while her vision carried the weight of darkness, I draw from that legacy a light that continues to guide me.
