That palliative care life, huh?! Shit happens 😂! This morning I had a lie in, but I want to walk the dogs with my parents. I’m a little short on time, so I’m currently doing my colonic irrigation (aka bowel washout) and eating breakfast on the loo 🚽 at the same time 🙈😂👍🏻! About to get dressed whilst in the loo too, once I’ve had breakfast... Talk about multi tasking! This is the reality of my life; I have to do my washout every single day or I’d get very sick (I have zero bowel function; I have to drink a ton of laxatives and do this procedure every day to get any results) but it takes at least an hour. So sometimes, I have to eat breakfast and get dressed on the loo. I am not embarrassed talking about my continence issues; everyone poos and pees! And my incontinence is one of the biggest aspects of my condition that requires the most time, energy and effort to mange it. It is didn’t catheterise, take me meds, drink laxatives, and do my bowel washout, I literally would not go to the loo, and I’d get very sick; constipation has given me blood poisoning when I was younger. So yeah, this is my morning. Like I said, shit happens! Absolutely exhausted 😩 had to get up at 6am to do my bowel washout and start the whole process of getting ready; it’s always ironic that when I’m tired I need to get up earlier cause it takes me longer to get ready, but then I get less sleep 😴😭! To be fair, it’s mostly mine and @caroline.davies350 ‘s fault we didn’t go to sleep til about 1am 🙈😂 yes, there were issues with acid reflux, pain, spasms, and getting up to pee repeatedly, but the main issue was that we couldn’t stop laughing 😂 and that was after dad stopped sending up videos of talking animals calling us a bitch 🙈😂!
