The advisory is pretty light on details as far as the exact nature of the vulnerabilities this patch addresses (ie. attack vector, associated malware / trojans). However, if you're running CF 9 through CF 10, you may want to look into this.

As promised, here's a document that should serve as a guide to those of you looking to build a high-availability vertical cluster using ColdFusion 9 Enterprise.
After several months of documenting and testing, I finally deployed our new public facing web server. This server was designed for high-availability through the use of multiple CF9 application clusters. Each of these clusters makes use of multiple instances to help keep their respective web apps running under load. Additionally, in order to facilitate application isolation, each of our major web apps was placed within its own IIS application pool and ColdFusion cluster. This way, should one of the web applications cluster fail, it will not take out the remaining web apps running on the server.
There's not a lot of documentation out there on this type of set-up, so once I have a chance to make it a little less specific to our needs, I'll see what I can do about posting it for the general public.
Bob Silverberg on ORM : December Recording CFUG New Zealand
We've all heard the buzz about CF9's ORM integration, but exactly what is it, and how can I use it? This session will demystify the idea of ORM by introducing the concepts that you need to know to get started using it right away. Not an object oriented developer? No problem! As long as you know what an object is, and a little bit about cfcs, this session will help you get past the buzzwords and be productive with ORM on your next project. Data-centric development in Adobe Flash Builder 4
by Brian Rinaldi Like many ColdFusion, PHP, and Java developers, I struggled when I first learned the Adobe Flex framework. I had to learn ActionScript 3 and MXML, and become familiar with event-driven architectures, asynchronous event processing, and data binding. Needless to say, the learning curve was steep. While I persevered, many developers may shy away from learning Flex. Now that has changed. With the public beta release of Adobe Flash Builder 4 (formerly Adobe Flex Builder), Flex is now much easier to learn. In fact, Flash Builder includes several new features that resolve the very issues that often trip up ColdFusion, PHP, and Java developers who are getting started with Flex. In this article, I examine how to add services within Flash Builder and utilize them within a project to quickly add data-driven behavior to Flex applications without writing code. I also look at how to use the recently released ColdFusion 9 and the second beta of ColdFusion Builder to rapidly develop a back-end service using Hibernate ORM. Note: If you haven't already, I encourage you to download the Flash Builder and ColdFusion Builder betas from Adobe Labs, and also download a trial version of ColdFusion 9 to follow along. It's important to note that while this article focuses on services integration with ColdFusion, new services integration in Flash Builder works with PHP and Java as well as web and HTTP services.
