To be honest, shopping alone had lost some of it’s previous appeal. Coco had gotten used to having Velvet give her a second opinion, or Fox tell her it made her look fat, despite them both knowing he couldn’t tell, or Yatsu just grunting at her questions. She hated it when her friends were busy. Who the hell told them they could have lives that didn’t revolve around her?
Now that she was alone, she found herself people watching as much as looking through the dresses she’d come for. The intention had been to find something that might finally catch Velvet’s attention, something that even that oblivious woman couldn’t think was just another joke. Taking her latest find into the dressing room, Coco quickly changed from her own outfit into the dress, taking the time to admire how it fit in the mirror.
The dress itself was fairly simple; brown of course, strappy and backless with a tasteful amount of cleavage and a thigh high slit. Nothing all that special, but Coco made it look damned good. At least, that was her opinion, this was why she needed someone else with her. She didn’t want her own arrogance to have her leaving the store with anything less than perfection. She’d settle for anyone at this point.
Stepping out of her own stall, the fashionista looked around for someone who’s opinion she could ask. It really didn’t matter who, this store carried her own line of clothing, that automatically meant that anyone shopping there had better tastes than most. Spotting a young blonde boy stepping out a few stalls down, Coco quickly made his way toward him, cursing herself for not bringing the shoes in with her. The shoes made the outfit!
“Hey kid, what do you think?”
