can i go on a mini-ramble/tangent about how brilliant joe and georgina's face acting is? i know i've chosen scenes that seem sort of miles apart and maybe none of this will make any sense(or maybe it will be too obvious and unnecessary to point out).
when naomi tells travis that mike is a man-child, what seems to be a look of indifference(to me) turns into one filled with more... interest(intrigue?) when he releases his lower lip and slightly widens his eyes(maybe does a slight squinty thing?). to me, it's him feeling a little more comfortable with showing the tiniest amount of enthusiasm of being around her. it's very subtle but it works really well!
when travis tells her that it's not likely that they will get help from robert, her once guarded look slightly falls apart with the slight raise of her furrowed eyebrows, the darting of her eyes, and her jaw fidgeting(?) and her look of fear is more apparent. she's still somewhat firm in choosing to stay in the storage unit but she also knows his points are valid and it scares her.
i've watched a few actors i admire say it is very hard to act when you don't have dialogue and i remember being really amazed with the things they do with just their eyes, in small and more emotionally intense scenes. i really hope that these two get projects that really give them a chance to shine because i think they're really impressive but under-used? ... that's all, folks!
