I don't trust ac harold smirking like that he's up to no good 😂
But I don't trust normal harold either 🤔
Harold is perpetually up to no good.

8. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write?
I’d have to say Robin. Quirky, laidback older woman who tries to be a supportive wife, a cool mom, and a loyal friend and not letting her age hold her back from what she wants to do? Yes. Yes to all of this. 😂 I pour a lot of myself into many of the characters I write for, but probably the most for Robin. The way I depict her is how I hope to be when I’m older and my daughter is grown. She is my ultimate mom goals and the character I find myself projecting onto the most.
21. Favorite pairing to write for? (platonic or romantic!)
Ooooof, this is such a hard question! As much as I love writing for Harvey/May, and I really do, I really have to hand it to Harvey and Harold! XD My god, their relationship is just SO much fun and has SO much depth to it! It can be fun, dramatic, cursed, heartbreaking, light-hearted and everything in-between, there’s just so many layers to their relationship. They play very well off of each other and the potential with them is limitless. Plus, I’m always a sucker for family dynamics and there’s no better opportunity for family dynamics than with these two idiots. I love them so much. 😭
27. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received?
This is another tough one, the SDV community is just SO NICE and supportive! I’ve received so many wonderful comments since I’ve been writing for SDV, each one means so much to me. It’s nothing specific, but any time someone comments support after a chapter is literally a big damn hero in my book. For authors only part-way through a WIP who have been posting their progress as they go along, every chapter feels like another lap in a marathon that you have no clue when it will end and it’s exhausting. I can tell you right now with certainty, even just a short “oh wow, great chapter! Can’t wait to find out what happens next!” will bring an author to near-tears. Just to know that someone out there is still reading, someone out there still cares, and someone out there is wishing you luck to continue... omg, the motivation that comes from that is unimaginable. They say to always write for yourself and not for others, but when you know you have the support of others just because someone commented their interest... boy, does that give all the validation in the world.
Though sidenote (and I know this answer is long, sorry!) this isn’t so much a “nice” comment as much as it is one that literally brought me to tears. I will NEVER forget the comment I received from a social worker regarding the fact that my Harvey is an orphan, telling me that my story had caused them to stop and think about how they act/speak to the children they serve and that they will make it a point to tell those children how much they are loved all as a result of my story. I’m actually close to tears just thinking about it, I will never forget that comment as long as I live.

Are collabs among writers a thing tho
Finally getting around to answering the fanfic ask meme questions... whoops. XD
F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it. Ugh, I’ve written too much, I don’t even know. 😂 In general I prefer writing dialogue to writing actions, it just flows more naturally for me. As a result, I love writing phone calls between two people because obviously that’s primarily dialogue and little else, so it allows me to write what I love which is conversations. I think one of my favorites was a scene in Runaway when May calls Harvey to tell him about an invitation to dinner with Robin, but he’s working at the clinic and has to be discreet so he has to code everything and May just eggs him on. It was a lot of fun to write both sides of the conversation; May coming up with more questions to tease him and Harvey attempting to answer each one in code.
“Pelican Town Clinic, this is Doctor Harvey,” Harvey answered pleasantly. May was slightly taken aback that he answered his personal cell phone so professionally, but she assumed he must just be used to answering the phone this way.
“Hi, sweetie!” May said lovingly. “How's your day going so far?”
“I'm currently with a patient at the moment, how may I be of assistance?” Harvey replied awkwardly.
“Ah, okay,” May replied in understanding. Harvey was trying very hard to keep the phone call discreet in front of his patient. “I just wanted to let you know that Robin invited us over for dinner on Friday night for Demetrius' birthday.”
"Okay,” Harvey replied briefly. "And what time would you like that appointment for?” It took May a moment to realize what he was asking.
"Oh! Okay, I get it… she wants us over at 6:00,” May answered.
“Excellent. Would it be possible for you to arrive at the clinic 30 minutes early?” Harvey went on in a professional tone. He most likely was asking her to meet up with him at the clinic early so that they could go there together.
"We should probably head over separately," May replied sadly. "We probably shouldn't be seen heading up the mountain together."
"Understood," Harvey replied casually, though she could hear the sadness in his voice.
"Once we get up there, we can be as open about our relationship as we want, they're pretty secluded up there," May said reassuringly.
"Sounds like a plan," Harvey said pleasantly.
"Are we still on for another movie night tonight?" May asked.
"Yes, it will be best to remain sedentary," Harvey replied.
"Your place or mine?" She felt bad holding him up while he had a patient, but it was actually fun to hear him try to answer her questions so covertly.
"I can make a house call, if necessary,” Harvey answered seriously.
“What do you want for dinner?” May asked, practically giggling at the absurdity of the phone call. Harvey was handling it exceptionally well.
“As my patient, I will leave that to you to decide what is best,” Harvey answered. “Keep me notified if there are any changes in your condition or if you require any additional care from me.”
May was sure that this translated to ‘let me know if the plans change or if there’s anything you need me to do.’ As amusing as this phone call was, May didn’t want to hold him back from doing his job any longer and decided to cut the call short.
“See you tonight, sweetie” May said, followed by a kissing sound. Harvey hung up the phone very quickly after that, no doubt he was worried he might accidentally make a kissing sound in return.
Q: How do you feel about collaborations? I’ve never done a collab with other authors (unless you count many years ago when friends of mine had an RP server and collaborated on how we wanted the story to go... but we don’t speak of that anymore XD). I always like the idea of writers and artists collaborating, though, it’s the best of both worlds. Each brings something to the table that the other doesn’t and when their powers combine, it can create something amazing. It’s why I find our webcomic collaboration so rewarding. (idgaf if this is just shamelessly promoting our webcomic @harveyandcoin, who cares).
X: A character you enjoy making suffer. It sounds AWFUL, I know, but I loooove making Harvey suffer. 😂 Only in a good way of course (because there is such a thing as good suffering). Writing Harvey internally freaking out when the farmer smiles at him or getting flustered when the farmer kisses him in public is just SO much fun. It’s also fun to make Harold suffer, but only because he deserves it.
