ANYWAY if Coil were to get grabbed by subspace for coil2.0. Banhammer would straight up kill subspace. no hesitation. It's not his normal rage either. Its a silent rage, no words, no huffing and puffing. Just on sight. Doesn't mater if it's during a phight or not. HIS coil. His lover, His little guy. Getting kidnaped, and turned into whatever coil2.0 is?
Not even his mama could stop him. Because at this point in time? Banhammer was ready to officially announce it to the public. That Coil was his, and anyone to lay a finger on him wouldn't only have to deal with banhammer. But also windforce. and coil's friends. (I'd imagine it be like 1-3 years after they first met.)
He was worried that Scythe had found out and kidnaped coil. Once she proved she didn't. He was worried. really worried. because coil did make a few enemies stealing from the rich and blackrock. He met with elites and gangs from all over Inpherno. No luck. By the time he'd make it to blackrock it was too late.
After he killed sub. He'd basically take a very angry Coil2.0 and lock himself in the banlands. Even his mother would be unable to reach him. But in the meantime. Windforce and firebrand both keep blackrock off of banhammer. He mourns over the lose of his beloved. Coil2.0 thinks banhammer is his enemy because to me he's a cyborg who's mind is completely over written with biograft code. Meaning if someone kills or trys to kill subspace. all biograft would attack to kill the person who tried.
Banhammer has coil2.0 in a cell with cameras facing right at it and actually sobs. He deteriorated to the point even sycthe was worried. He completely stopped going to fights, crime spiked everywhere because there was no-one who could really stop it. No one wanted to take Banhammer's stead because despite being a manchild. He's really important to the whole system of Inpherno. Sure there are police, and other people who should be filling the spot the banhammer left.
But Banhammer caught criminals, funded more jobs the he should've(Him and his mama do be a little rich), and kept a lot of people in line. I'm so serious. Without banhammer doing his job so much goes wrong in the Inpherno because none of the deities can fill the role, the public trusts NONE of them with it. The flipside have their own jobs, and Sword's has a lot on his plate still because ditf is probably still going on.
I mean there are a few people that could step in to keep crime low, i mean Shuri does an okay job in thieves den(with the secret help of katana). As much as she'd hate it, Scythe is forced to take care of lost temple(With the crunch backing her). Blackrock is mostly fine without needing someone to step in, they had a lot of systems in place to keep control. But playground is basically a warzone. Also voidstar escapes. <- REALLY NOT GOOD.
Now coilhammer. Mainly Banhammer. It's probably over 10 months banhammer depressively grieves, he doesn't get up very much anymore, his horns dim, turning a sickly purple. He hold onto the few items coil had given him like a lifeline, desperate to get that feeling back. The play, the glances, the sharing drinks with curly straws, the moments alone when it was just the two of them, the fights. anything. Windforce shows up every week to knock. Try try and get him to do anything, to talk to her.
By year one, he finally opens the door just a crack for his mother. She nearly crys. Because her darling baby boy was just a shell of himself. He looked BAD. His room? very dark, but trashed. She knew mortals could have their moments. But she didn't know that this could happen. She stares and he closes the door.
She runs to Firebrand, because he has to know how to fix her son. She gets the cheesiest answer, Time mends all wounds. But he suggests she tries to be quieter, gentle. And so she tries to be, for her son. And over a few months, banhammer opens the door. literally and figuratively. And he gets to a point where he lets his mom touch him again. He initiated it with a hug.
Coil2.0 is festering in it's cell. Because it can't get out, or avenge it's creator or get any amount for proper maintenance. Joint's are rusting due to... ahem blood. but it's cell is more like a normal room with a big metal door. a VIP "cell" for when elites get arrested and have to wait to get rescued by their factions.
It takes longer for Banhammer to try and help coil. because he was treating coil like he was dead. FOR ALMOST 2 YEARs. Coil. IS NOT HAVING A GOOD TIME. (It gest better trussst) He contacts blackrock. He basically surved his time. He'll be willing to do whatever punishment they decide if they can find a way to, at the very least, return coil's memories. But Blackrock at this point only want banhammer to step back up AND DO HIS FUCKING JOB. Sorry.
Because things are still bad. Sure some of the phighters are trying to keep things together. But all the factions are on the verge of another war. Because demands aren't getting met for certain things, inphernals have begun ambushing trucks filled with supplies, and overall people are not having a good time.
Banhammer agrees. And slowly. He starts working on capturing criminals, he's mean now. not like before where haha i'm better and you're just bad. No. his whole personality changed. kinda like batman. He wears less armor, to be quiet, No more blindfold because he's not gonna hold back. And slowly he rebuilds the scattered police force. It's a lot of work an multiple years. But he has a reputation now! oh... he'd be like 51... oh guh. But yk because he's a demi-deity it's fine.
Coil eventually gets, at the very least coded to not hate banhammer's guts. He's missing a lot of memories. but he knows a few of his recent friends, banhammer, and verrry little about his life. Medkit probably assists in some way because of his gear. And Zuka is employed to help with remaking coil's limbs.
It's not a aww they're back to normal. It's banhammer and coil slowly recovering. Apart at first neither of them can handle being around the other. But slowly over the course of like 8 or so months. they can be around each other again. Coil meets his old friends, and slowly his life rebuilds with support. Banhammer has a similar time. They slowly because a couple again.
It's different. But there are still stolen glances, coil is there to comfort ban when ban wakes up from a nightmare. Banhammer's always there to remind coil of things, because coil's memory is still bad. In this au? NO CHILD. Because 1 they're both still recovering and aren't ready and 2 banhammer would have to give up a lot more of his gear's power to spawn a kid because coil can only give up a little. which would make banhammer weak, and he can't risk Inpherno for a child.
Oh wait i never mentioned the fan child i have, huh? Wellp you'll just have to wait for THE NEXT EPISODE or the next next episode! it took me almost an hour to write this someone needs to put me down hhhhh
