This version is made from brown paper micarta and has a very hard point off the knuckle. Completely non-metallic and fits most standard ballpoint pens and standard #2 pencils (and pencil pushers😉). Let’s be honest with ourselves for a second, in a defensive situation where you have to use one of the many NPE tools on the market, you’re realistically only going to get a good 2-3 strikes before all that blood makes the tool slip from your grip. That’s where this ring serves it’s secondary purpose as another form of a force multiplier.
