Here are the shavings Iām getting after lots of fettling. I had to adjust the wear bevel, it was causing the shavings to get stuck against the chip breaker. After taking a few passes with a plane float the shavings came out fine. After that was fixed, I had some issues with the ends of the abutments catching the shavings and jamming things up. I managed to clean those up with a few passes of a 1/4ā chisel. Overall Iām pleased with the performance. #planemaker #handplanes #coffinsmoother #woodenplane (at The Unplugged Woodshop)
