Sniffing it caused his eyes to widen and overall shine with joy. ❝ Pika!! ❞ A slight hop before he moved forward to grab the cup filled with coffee and let it be warmed against his fur. His partner was always so considerate when it came to pleasing his Pokemon. ❝ Pika pi! ❞ A long sip as Pikachu enjoyed the bitter taste. Now he was ready to take on the day at his partner’s side, willing to aid him however he could.

CARING SENTENCE STARTERS

❝ Piii.. kaaa. ❞ He huffed as he tried to reach the upper cabinet. Climbing on the counter wasn't good enough, and even if he jumped up higher, it was still harder to open the small door. Pikachu knew the good snacks were hidden here and he didn't want to bother his partner. A few more squeaks as another huff came from his mouth, almost hunched over in defeat.

Suddenly his ears twitched when he heard footsteps, shadow appeared on the wall before his partner fully entered the room. ❝ Pii? ❞ He said in an innocent tone, trying to not seem suspicious, but it seemed the other knew exactly what he wanted. Harry spoke quickly before opening the small door and grabbed the bag of treats to place in front of him. ❝ Pika!! ❞ Pikachu hopped and nuzzled against his arm before enjoying his treats soon after.

HE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO LOOK ASHAMED. he was, in fact, stuck. but, he couldn’t let harry know that. even so, he was a detective ( a world class detective! ) he could sleuth his way down! “ pika–––– pikachu! ” he padded slowly across the top of the fence he’d scampered onto, paws reaching down to see just how great of a foothold he could find.

the answer? not great!

so, there he was. him, harry, and a fence he couldn’t give up on ( detectives didn’t give up! ). in a sudden show of bravery, he rushed down the fence, stumbling over the holes far too large for his tiny paws almost immediately and falling into a sitting position with a soft, high––––pitched, “ chu! ”

and yet, he’d done it. it didn’t matter how, he had gotten himself down. and, so, he trotted past harry back into the apartment with an air of pride far too strong for his terrible dismount.
