This easy cleaning method keeps your coffee maker in good shape and makes sure that your coffee tastes fresh and doesn't have any leftover flavors.

Ingredients: 1/2 cup white vinegar. 1/2 cup water.

Instructions: You can use a measuring cup to mix the white vinegar and water. Put the vinegar-water mix into the coffee maker's water tank. Start the coffee maker and let it brew without any coffee grounds. Throw away the used vinegar-water mixture when the cycle is over. To get rid of any vinegar residue, rinse the coffee maker's water reservoir very well with clean water. To be sure that all traces of vinegar are gone, do two more brewing cycles with clean water.
