All true,but they shlould have been friends from the beginning when you really think about it. Iris and Caitlin are both nice, kind people at least they were at the beginning of the show. Barry was in a coma at STARLabs for months and they never talked to each other. Iris is warm, bubbly and expressive and happy to extend friendship to Caitlin and Cisco as early episode four, “because these are the people who saved Barry’s life.” her own words. She works at a coffee shop with baked goods.
You telling me in nine months Iris never bought the STARLabs crew coffee and baked goods from Jitters? That’s fake.That Caitlin never saw Iris crying over her best friend lying in a coma and said one word of kindness to her? It’s fake and shows a lack of consideration in the writing or value for the female characters.
I’m not mad at Caitlin, I’m bitter over the fact that when it makes the least sense, when its the most forced they are showcasing a friend ship between Caitlin and Iris.

We know from TWS that she joined SHIELD by as late as 2009. If 84 is her true birth year, we have about a six or seven year gap to work with.
ah thank you i couldn't remember a date/timeframe for her joining SHIELD. If HYDRA had its mits in everything they could find a way to make the stories connect if they wanted
