#coffee solves everything

It’s so hard to say no.

I can’t look him in the eyes,

And when I do I make means to leave,

I run away from so few things in life.

When he pleads with my wrist encircled entirely in his fingers,

I pull it back and stare at the burning brand his grip has left.

When I get away with the excuse of work,

I feel his eyes boring holes in my head.

It sounds like begging between my ears.

Reaching there I swig bitter coffee,

But all I can taste is blood in my mouth. 

Loving you in this life is like chewing iron,

Painful, disgusting, life threatening
