Coffee Bros
Hey everyone!
Today's post will be featuring the online coffee roasters Coffee Bros! They're an online coffee roaster that roast and ship your coffee when you order it, giving you the reassurance that when you receive your order you know they're fresh. And who doesn't like a fresh bag of coffee beans right?
You can shop by flavor profies to help you make choosing a bag a bit easier and more curated to your likings. Options are Classic, Balanced, Adventurous, & Modern. Descriptions of the four profiles are as follows as described according to their website:
Classic Those looking for approachable flavor profiles with muted acidity tend to appreciate coffees in this category. All coffees in Classic are sourced to hit notes of chocolate, nutty, with mild fruit acidity and roasted Medium - Specialty Dark. Balanced The balanced range has a bit more acidity than the Classic flavor profile, and while red or dark fruit notes are likely to be present, we also have coffees leaning in with bright citrus acidity and florals. Adventurous The adventurous range is for those unafraid of acidity and eager to taste coffees roasted a bit lighter to help highlight the region’s complete range of origin characteristics and processing influence. Modern Flavors present in the Modern profile are driven by one-of-a-kind processing methods, rare varietals, with careful and intentional influence from the producer through every step of harvesting.
You can also shop by categrories like coffee origins, roast type, award-winning, and signature blends. Of course you can shop/browse through all the options all at once, but it's nice being able to choose and filter what you're really looking for or to just have products of the same type put together in one place.
They also sell coffee equipment if you're looking to either start your at-home brewing journey. They have espresso machines, griders, & manual brewing available for purchase. One of the options for purchase is this awesome beginner's bundle which is the Breville bambino Plus & the baratza ESP grinder. Two essentials when it comes to brewing your own espresso at home. Personally use the Breville bambino plus and I love it so much. It has it's own built in steamer so you can practice making latte art at home.
The beans that I got were their Espresso Roast Coffee beans. Its a dark roast with a flavor profile of dark chocolate and red fruit. It's honestly one of my favorite beans I've had as of recent. It's their newest espresso blend that's made for super crema lovers. I normally got lattes that get mute the espresso shots once you pour in the milk but this blend cuts through the milk and you can really taste it's flavor profile pretty well. Personally add my home-made vanilla simple syrup to my lattes and the flavor profile of these beans are still strongly present.
