FOR IT IS NEEDLESS TO THROW AWAY ONE’S LIFE, when it was already as fragile as it was. For the women and children that would not even choose to stand in their way, never would it be the WARRIOR’S WAY to cut them down. To spill the blood of not just the INNOCENT, but that of the HELPLESS. Those that have yet to bloom (That itself had been a warning Lord Kars himself had brought upon him, all those centuries ago, for they would grow and come after them when the time was right).
INSTINCTS WOULD BUT OF COURSE TAKE OVER, massive figure shooting forward without a second thought. SHIELDING the petite human from the incoming vehicle, whilst swerving violently back and forth, would most definitely result in striking HER. Arms raised and forearms summoning forth vicious whirlwinds to steer the thing off direction-- if not crash it into a nearby building.
HE COULD FEEL HER SHAKING, a quivering form behind his very own, once silence fell. Whilst his attention remained on the smoldering car wreck just to the left of them, he had done what needed to be done. Not so much as sparing the small blonde woman a second glance (If she were to suffer from any form of trauma, someone else would aid her in that matter), the pillar man would continue on his way, down those very streets.
