No matter what and how I say it, words won’t do justice to HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS BOOK.Nia SMASHED it (again). She said we weren’t ready for Knox and Tara, and IT WAS TRUE. It exceeded ALL MY EXPECTATIONS AND THEN SOME MORE. I DEVOURED THIS BOOK LIKE CRAZY, and IT WAS SO FUCKING DELICIOUS that I already crave more!!
The WRITING WAS FAN-fcking-TASTIC. All the characters were so well outlined ... their personalities, their dynamics with others, and even their battles within themselves... TOO GOOD. They all felt so real and so close that I couldn’t help but laugh when they laughed, cry when they hurt, and feel every ounce of anticipation, nervousness, and thrill whenever they were in action. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
Now about Tara and Knox’s relationship — AAAAAAAH IT WAS UNHINGED IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY!! The stalking game, the chase, the passion, the obsession, the push and pull, the constant fight to outdo the other, the sheer feralness of them... MINDBLOWING!!But what got me the most was the way they bought quiet and calm to each other 🙌🏽 Beneath all that chaos was this softness, tenderness, and vulnerability that felt so raw and consuming. GOD. IT WAS EVERYTHING.I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT.
