Day 2 - What are Semantic elements? Why they are important?
Rather than writing vague divs (which are container tags) in your document. How about using semantic tags?
Semantic tags define the purpose of the element. It's beneficial to use tags, class names and ids that give meaning to your content rather than just define its looks. Presentation is the responsibility of CSS.
For example- <p>,<header>,<figure> tells the content wrapped around them are paragraph, header or image.
They help the browser as well as developers understand the meaning of their content.
Why is Semantic Html important?
Helps to write clean and maintainable code
Enhances Accessibility
Improves SEO

Succeeding in tech has nothing to do with how smart you are; it has everything to do with how persistent you are. . Everything in this field is cumulative. Each topic you learn will build off of prior topics. That’s what makes it challenging. Be sure to start at square one. If you don’t have a background in tech, you’ll want to start by learning the fundamentals of computers and studying the basic terminology. . You’re going to have to learn a lot of tough topics and you’re not necessarily going to comprehend them all on your first try. Accept this fact. In those moments, you need to be conscious of your own comprehension. . Constantly check in with yourself and reflect on whether the topic you’re studying makes sense to you. If it doesn’t, don’t jump ahead! Try going back over the prerequisite topics to see if something didn’t make sense. The absence of comprehension can be frustrating but don’t let that get you down. . Comprehension should be your end goal, not your immediate expectation. If you still find yourself stuck on a particular topic, go through your learning materials and outline all the important terminology, definitions, and examples. Commit those to memory. Use flash cards or write out the terms and definitions repeatedly until you can recite them by memory. Comprehension takes time. Memorization is the next best thing after comprehension. . . . #codered #coderdojo #webdevelopment #html #codinglife #code #softwareengineering #programmer #coders #developer #webdeveloper #software #java #coderpower #programmerlife #developerlife #coderlife #developers #coding #programmerrepublic #programmers #programming #softwareengineer #codereddvd #coder #softwaredeveloper #javascript #programmerslife #coderedbrand #codergirl https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn2PNMdhMGh/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1sxaetxjggstz

Day 6 - Collapsible Sections with Html5
Used with the summary tag which specifies the title that can be clicked to expand or collapse the details.
Details tag is used to make collapsible sections when it is required to provide extra information about a subject that a user can hide or view by their choice.
By default, the details are hidden, the open attribute can be used to change the default behavior.
Day 5 - Define options with datalist tag
The Html5 <datalist> tag is used to provide autocomplete feature in the input field of the form.
It specifies the set of predefined options for the user to input.
To bind it to the input, it is usually used with the <input> element's "list" attribute whose value matches the datalist id.
It works with all types of inputs like data, range, and color.
Have you ever used this tag in your projects?
