Thank you! Working at Barnes and Noble for years means that I have bought way too many of their leatherbound books from their collectible editions series. They definitely make for an aesthetically pleasing shelf!

I have a cat that doesn't enjoy stepping on soft things either. She rarely ever makes biscuits and even then it's just for a moment.

Mine don’t make biscuits either! I wonder if the two things are related.

I do my best! They really just don’t seem to be into soft things or warm things. I thought they’d love the electric blanket but they won’t go near it, and they don’t give a crap one way or another about the electric heating pad.

This is so cute- I can’t stop watching. My favorite part is when she just plonks herself down and is like oh wow this is such a nice duvet

She loves a good blanket. When I come into the condo in the afternoon after work, I let them into the bedroom and she always goes straight to the bed and flops around like that. (Polk prefers my work desk, where I can skritch her ears easily.)

Hehe, she mostly only acts like this if no one else is around, and she seems to be especially affectionate in the morning. When she decides to sit on my lap though, she really commits - it doesn’t matter if my lap is already occupied, she’ll find a way.
