i’m so sick of how all the comments under any slightly angsty Ghost post will be filed with posers commenting “I love him so much i hate when he’s sexualized” “I hate what booktok did to him” it’s annoying, they’re always irrelevant to the actual post and there’s more of them then the people they’re complaining about.
They are who i consider actual fake fans, because they are refusing to actually earnestly engage with an emotional post exploring the depth of a character they claim to love when the chance is presented to them.
they don’t know basic information about him like that the 09 and reboot games are separate continuities and that the ghost origin comics are for 09, speaking off they clearly haven’t actually read those comics despite bringing them up constantly.
they don’t actually like Simon Ghost Riley, they like the idea of being a “rare true fan” of him and defending him against “fake female fans who only like him cus he’s hot.”
