10. What are some facts readers may not know about the fic? OLaR is so good for this question! I started writing the fic around this time last year, actually, as a sort of warm-up. I hadnât written in about two years before I started writing it (and that shows, orz) but once I started I got.. really into it. I wrote it all in about a month, and it was actually the first long AU story for the Moicy fandom. So I was super proud of that.Unfortunately, because it was a sort of âwarm upâ fic for a tiny, budding fandom, I didnât take it seriously. I actually really want to go through and rewrite it, because I know there are some points of confusion for people. Tbh, when I wrote it, I didnât think Moicy was going to be big for me, or that I would stay in the fandom this long, and enjoy creating and consuming content this much. I was kind of careless with the story, just because there were like, no other fics to bounce ideas off of at the time, so Iâd like to go back and fix that one day. As for facts... I made Moiraâs hometown Wicklow, which is actually where my fave artist Hozier is from. The epilogue actually has a lot of parallels to the rest of the story, which I think is why I thought it made sense but it ended up slipping past readers, because they were pretty subtle, lol. Aaaaand @redundantharpoons read it while she was on a plane ride!!! And she ended up loving emotionally tangled Moira as much as I do, heh.Â
