Cobra Kai Halloween: Day 16 - Cult

By the time they realized what Cobra Kai was it was almost too late for all of them.
Almost.
Bobby, Johnny, Tommy and Dutch has all fallen under Kreese’s spell early on.. but Jimmy kept them human. He was their empathy, their mindfulness, their heart.. and the one who made them realize they had to get out of Cobra Kai for good.
It hit them like a ton of bricks, two weeks into Kreese bringing Silver in on the dojo to help train. Jimmy had always been sweet but tough, held himself and others to high moral standards and integrity. Soon after training with Silver however, he’d started to become increasingly violent and erratic and just simply not himself.
He’d lost his temper and bloodied Johnny’s nose one night out of nowhere. A week later he got into a huge fight with his parents who he adored and stormed out at 3 am. Cops had to be called to find him. Cussed Tommy out for calling his mom that night to see if Jimmy was okay. He about ripped Bobby’s head clean off when he’d confronted the youngest cobra about his behavior. He wrecked Dutch’s motorcycle driving drunk. Then the smoking began, the acting indifferent at school, letting his grades slip.
They realized Jimmy was falling for it too. The Cobra Kai philosophy: strike first, strike hard, no mercy. He was falling under Silver’s spell and they were having none of it.
It was beginning to feel like they’d unwittingly joined a cult, and seeing Jimmy change was the last straw.
They had to get out.
They had to protect their sweet little Cobra they all adored so much.
Jimmy was their light out of the darkness and saving him would be their redemption.
