3. What ideas come from when you were little
HMMMM I'm not sure honestly. I was really attached to a few character and story ideas from my childhood/early-mid teen years for a while but I've been steadily letting those go as my tastes change.
I've always really liked atomic age/googie/mid-century modern design because I was fascinated by the old tomorrowland at disney world. That plus meet the robinsons/robots/this really specific tom and jerry episode still influence me As A Whole
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)
Definitely the stuff mentioned in the last ask but I'd also say soul eater. I really love the way teeth are drawn (super specific lol) and I think Dr. Stein influenced my love of stitched up frankenstein/zombie-esque characters.
25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by
I had to get feedback on this. oomf said panty and stocking + scott pilgrim (though I am arguably influenced by the former). oomf2 said yaoi the fanime (tumblr webseries id never heard of, BUT some of my unposted gag comics are similar). oomf3 said someone told them my characters (i think?) reminded them of the game psychopomp which I have ALSO never heard of but can see the resemblance in some ways. depending on the character!
I forgot who I was replying to. I forgot you're oomf3
