Miyuki then finishes the drink as he walks to coach’s office across campus.  Once he arrives he knocks on the door. “Coach. It’s Miyuki. Someone told me you wanted to see me” he says behind the door. He didn’t want to rudely walk in. He knew what the coach is like in regards with manners. The whole incident with him and Sawamurashowing up late for Sawamura’s first day shows for it.

Miyuki's relationship with Coach Kataoka is just that. It's like any relationship with a player and their coach. Miyuki sincerely respects and trusts the coach a lot. He knows that all Coach Kataoka wants from the team is for them to succeed and win every game. Miyuki truly couldn't ask for a better coach to teach him and lead the team to become the best. Miyuki knows that Coach Kataoka can be quite harsh and rough during practice but its all because he knows that the Coach believes in all of them and wants them all to believe in themselves individually and as a team. In the end Miyuki really looks up to the Coach as more than a coach but also a mentor and someone he wants to become in the future.
