I GOT A JOB
I have accepted a 1st-grade position at my dream school (aka the school I went to as a child)! I will be a co-teacher and the classroom is going to have flexible seating. Any advice or tips for co-teaching and flexible seating are appreciated. Iām so excited to start this new co-teaching model at my school and just the overall opportunity to be back at the school that ignited my passion for teaching.Ā

Maybe I shd just upload the whole GD pedagogical novel, if thatās a genre yet, w/ its doubtful protagonist & his supportive cast of 1,000s, and bellow ā HERE. YA. GO.

I made a post a few weeks ago about a lesson that I did that went surprisingly well. It was called The Oscars lesson. The activity is essentially just āwrite a dialogā but disguised as āweāre all going to the Oscars next week and you have to present a script.ā And it worked shockingly well. All I ever want in class is for them to be creative and silly like they usually are, but just in English.ā¦
