“Am I dreaming?  Or am I part of... somebody else’s dream?” - Mummy Dad
Mummy Dad is a pyramid-packing and landing platformer made for The Cartoon Network Gamejam in Portland 2016, starring Miss Mummy of OK K.O.!
I did programming and game design.
Art by Jake Fleming! https://dribbble.com/jakefleming

This was a super fun project made alongside some super talented dudes. Â Started as a 48hour gamejam project and polished over two weeks.

I spent this past weekend in Portland at the first ever Cartoon Network Game Jam! We had 48hrs to make a functional game based on OK KO Lakewood Plaza Turbo and it was all crazy, new, and fun. The creator, Ian Jones-Quartey (really cool guy) was there, the coordinators gave us amazing swag, all of the hosts and staff were incredibly accommodating, and the film crew was amazingly polite (they shot a doc!). Shout out to Will Lewis, Corey Warning and ‪#‎PIGSquad‬ working to make this happen, and to Britt for hosting a Jam leading up to this. Thanks to team-mates Nathan (programming), Taylor (programming), and Nicodemus (music) for making me part of a great game and teaching me new stuff. This experience has been amazing, and I’m going to try treating every day more like a Game Jam.
I made some beatboards (and eventually an animatic) for the game I worked on this weekend at the Cartoon Network Game Jam this weekend! It was SO much fun, and I had a blast. Met so many awesome people, and made a lot of new friends! Best weekend ever!
Attended the Cartoon Network Game Jam this past weekend and I got the chance to pitch my beat boards for my team’s opening cinematic to Ian Jones-Quartey AND Rebecca Sugar.Â
Life goal: UNLOCKED.
