Drunken Confession // Christopher Velez
Request: Can you write about Christopher getting super drunk and you guys are best friends, and he just keeps telling you 'i love you ' and you're like 'ok chris 😂' but then he pulls you close and is like 'no.. I really love you y/n' and you're thinking 'oh shit, he doesn't mean it - he's drunk. But FUCK I love this pendejo too...' By: @my-only-angelle
Note: I freaking loved this request omg!!!! And I hope you guys like it too!! You saw the boy dancing, the way his body moved the music, and the way his hair gently bounced with each of the movements. He looked so happy, so relaxed. Even with the blaring music, you could still hear him laugh with the other boys, it was a contagious laugh which passed to all of the other boys. You couldn’t believe how much of a goofball he was, but he was your goofball of a best friend.
You leaned back in the lounge, pulling your phone out as you mindlessly scrolled through your social media. You had gotten a bit tired from all the dancing the boys had made you do, and you wanted to go home and snuggle up in bed but you promised Christopher that you would come to the club with him, but you didn’t drink so you would be his designated driver.
“Nena vamos a bailar,” You could hear Christopher whisper in your ear. He was behind you, wrapping an arm around you so he could reach your phone, wrapping his hand around yours before snatching it from you and placing your phone in his pocket.
“Chris, I’m tired.” You whined, throwing your head back on his shoulder.
“One dance,” He responded, wrapping both arms around you. You groaned knowing that he won because you would always cave to the requests of your best friend. He unwrapped himself from you, helping you out of the lounge and leading you to the dance floor.
The boys all greeted you with a smile as you joined them, bouncing to the beat of the music and moving your hips. You could feel Christopher step closer to you, placing one hand on your waist as you continued to dance, it was normal for the both of you to dance like this at clubs. And before you knew it, the song was over.“Time to go home Chris.” You told him, smiling at him as you grabbed his arm. The boys each said goodbye to you, giving you sweaty hugs and kisses on the cheek before letting you and Chris go.
The both of you walked back to the car, with your arms intertwined so the both of you wouldn’t slip. As soon as the boy leaned his head against the headrest in your car, he was out like a light, you knew it was because of the alcohol and exhaustion of all the dancing. You stood there for a moment, admiring your best friend. You gently shut the door so you wouldn’t wake him before walking back to your side and driving home.
“Chris,” You call out to him, gently shoving his shoulder so he would wake up. You got home safely but now the problem was waking Chris up to get him into the house. He groaned at you, turning his head to the other side and pushing your hand away. You laugh, shoving him harder. “Despierta!” You shouted at him.
“Aye nena. You never let me sleep.” He whines, pulling himself out of the car and onto your body. You almost fell over but you managed to regain your balance as you grabbed his arm, leading him into your house and up to your room.
You tell him to sit on the edge of the bed while you get his clothes ready for him, searching through your closet for the extra clothes he left at your house. You managed to find a pair of grey sweats and a white shirt, handing them to him. He softly smiles at you before letting you leave to change in the bathroom.
You had a glass of water and aspirin on the nightstand by his side of the bed before deciding to crawl next to him, pulling the blankets up to your face for warmth.“Y/N,” He whispered, grabbing your attention before you were pulled to sleep. You turn your head to look at him, his warm brown eyes were already on yours, comforting as they always were. You sent him a soft smile, turning your body to face him, laying your head over your arm. “I love you.” He added, raising his arm and wrapping it around your frame.
“Chris, go to sleep.” You responded, bringing your free hand up to his face, adjusting his hair so it was out of his face. He always managed to get sweaty when both of you were in the same bed, and you knew the hair would eventually stick to his face.“No. I love you.” He dragged out. You laughed at him, moving your hand down to your chest. Chris kept his eyes on you, he loved it when you laughed, it was his favorite thing about you.
“Okay, Chris. I love you too, but we should go to sleep. We are bo-” You started but you cut yourself off when you felt Chris’ grip tighten around your waist, rapidly pulling your body to his.
“No, I really love you Y/N,” He said, and you knew it was true. His voice held so much endearment as he emphasized every word. But he was drunk and he could just be saying that because he was drunk right? He analyzed your reaction. Your lips were slightly parted in shock, your eyes wide at his confession, and he knew he couldn’t take it back. It was mostly the liquid courage but he also felt like it was finally time to tell you.
“Chris, you’re drunk.” You reasoned, your hand moving from your chest to his.
“Nena, it’s not the alcohol.” He started. “I love you so much. You are the most supportive person I have in my life, you are the kindest and most understanding. I love it when you laugh, it lights up my life amor. I love it when you take care of me because it shows that you care for me. I treasure all of these moments with you. I know I’m drunk but I have had these feelings for so long. Te quiero Y/N,” He confessed. He removed his arm from your waist and used that hand to place it along your jawline, running his thumb over your cheek. You bit your lip, trying to find the right response for him. You knew you loved him too but you were scared. What if this ruins you guys? What if he doesn’t mean any of this? He is drunk. But you couldn’t deny it, you loved this man so much.
“Chris, I’m scared.” You mumbled, trying to shove your head deeper into the pillow, wishing it could swallow you so you could hide.
“Why?” He asks. His brows were furrowed in confusion, and confusion etched on all of his features. Why would you be scared?
“What if this ruins us? What if you don’t really love me?” You question in a soft voice. And that almost broke his heart.
“Nena, I promise whatever happens we will still be us. And I do really love you. Te lo prometo,” He mumbles into your face, nuzzling his against yours. You begin to laugh against him, pulling away from him and noting his once again confused face.
“I love you too...pendejo,” You confessed against his skin. At your choice of words, he pulls away and both of you begin to laugh.
“I may be a pendejo, but at least you love this pendejo.”
