I remember last yearās Thanksgiving was a little tough for me. I was having an anxiety attack all day but I was trying to put a smile on my face because my whole family were here for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. I was contemplating about my life, my goals and all these scary things inside my head. I went inside my room to calm myself. I took my phone with me and I started browsing on Instagram. While I was randomly browsing on my feed, I saw this Naked Heat palette giveaway from rach_darb and I read the caption, and it says that we just need to tell her anything, even the most random thing that we could think of to win the palette. Truthfully, I wasnāt really aiming to win this giveaway, but I needed to get that heavy feeling off of my chest, and so I wrote on the comment section that Iām having an anxiety while re-evaluating my whole life. She answered on my comment and she replied,Ā āOne thing at a time, concentrate on one thing at a time.ā .. and she was right. I felt a little calmer after that. Iām so thankful for her advice.
By the way when I joined her giveaway, I didnāt notice that it was going to end the next day so the winner was announced the following day, and guess who won that giveaway? You know it! It was ME. I was so surprised when I woke up the next morning and saw her tagged post to me and she was asking my address to mail the palette. It was the best morning ever! She messaged me and her words are just so sweet and sheās such a nice person. I was feeling horrible the night before but I am just so thankful and so joyful on what happened the next day.Ā
I know this may sound cheesy to some people but that just made me believed that life is truly full of surprises. I will always remember this experienced.Ā
I splurged on the palette right away when I received it and so hereās the details of the simple eyelook that I did using Urban Decayās Naked Heat palette.Ā
I used the shade Ounce for the base. I mixed the shadesĀ Sauced and Cayenne as a transition shade and lower lash line. Ashes to deepen the outer corner and lastly, the shade Scorched at the center of my lid.Ā
