What's up guys? I want to say I'm doing reat but I'm really not at the moment. I've been suffering from shoulder and neck pain for almost a week now. This is not new to me but these past few days were just awful because it's affecting my sleeping schedule. I don't like the feeling of not having enough sleep because it makes me feel tired and grouchy all day.

Last Friday, May 11, we attended my sister’s graduation at Waikiki Shell. Since we got there 3 hours early before the program, we decided to stroll around the area and found a beautiful park next to the venue. My supportive brother agreed to be my photographer for that day.

I remember last year’s Thanksgiving was a little tough for me. I was having an anxiety attack all day but I was trying to put a smile on my face because my whole family were here for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. I was contemplating about my life, my goals and all these scary things inside my head. I went inside my room to calm myself. I took my phone with me and I started browsing on Instagram. While I was randomly browsing on my feed, I saw this Naked Heat palette giveaway from rach_darb and I read the caption, and it says that we just need to tell her anything, even the most random thing that we could think of to win the palette. Truthfully, I wasn’t really aiming to win this giveaway, but I needed to get that heavy feeling off of my chest, and so I wrote on the comment section that I’m having an anxiety while re-evaluating my whole life. She answered on my comment and she replied, “One thing at a time, concentrate on one thing at a time.” .. and she was right. I felt a little calmer after that. I’m so thankful for her advice.

By the way when I joined her giveaway, I didn’t notice that it was going to end the next day so the winner was announced the following day, and guess who won that giveaway? You know it! It was ME. I was so surprised when I woke up the next morning and saw her tagged post to me and she was asking my address to mail the palette. It was the best morning ever! She messaged me and her words are just so sweet and she’s such a nice person. I was feeling horrible the night before but I am just so thankful and so joyful on what happened the next day. 

I know this may sound cheesy to some people but that just made me believed that life is truly full of surprises. I will always remember this experienced. 

I splurged on the palette right away when I received it and so here’s the details of the simple eyelook that I did using Urban Decay’s Naked Heat palette. 

Hello everyone! I’m sorry for being MIA lately because I’ve been busy with a lot of things. There’re so many changes in our home when it comes to our schedule now that everyone’s back to school and work. 

One thing I am most excited and been really proud about is that my 5 y/o little sister is now a school girl. She’s in Kindergarten, and I am so proud of her for not crying on her first day of school and she’s been consistently excited to attend her class everyday. I know I am such a doting sister hahahaha! She’s a very friendly kid and I am glad to see her making a lot of new friends and seeing her smile and having a blast in school. 

Unfortunately my little sister caught a cold and she passed it on me (she recovered after that LOL) so now I’m sick. Thank God because that OTC medication that I’m taking is very effective so I’m recovering quickly. Also my parents and my boyfriend has been taking care of me <3 and I just feel so blessed that I have these people around me all the time. 

Once I’m fully recovered, I’ll resume on finishing all my video projects and create more makeup looks because I just ordered a bunch of makeup’s that I can’t wait to try. 

Aloha! I am so sorry for not being so active lately. I have been so busy and I just got back from my trip to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I have so many stories and photos that I want to share with you guys but I’m still in the middle of editing our photos so that will have to wait for a bit.
