If the cmbyn book was a compliation of Troye Sivan songs, then Elio's would be Bite, Oliver's would be The Good Side and the last pages of the ghost spots (aka the book) would be BLOOM

Iâve realized something that occurs every time Iâve seen a film since seeing CMBYN in theatres back in January: I inexplicably start thinking about CMBYN during the other films. Every time. Even if itâs a film I end up also loving. Even if itâs only for a few seconds when minor characters are on the screen. Thereâs just something about CMBYN (obviously) that has always had me coming back to it. The emotions you experience when watching CMBYN are maybe some of the same you feel watching other films, but never in the same way. Even if a film is nothing like CMBYN, thereâs this weird part of me that will always be comparing it. Maybe thatâs crazy, but I donât know if any other film will ever make me feel the things that CMBYN did. This is, of course, in part to the amazing novel, of which I will never be over, either. And in conclusion, THE STORY OF CALL ME BY YOUR NAME STICKS WITH YOU FOR LIFE - THEREâS NO GOING BACK.
I find it crazy that I had no idea this book excited for the last 10 years (I'm a huge bibliophile) and I was none the wiser all that time. Perhaps I should be grateful I found it so close to the movie release but how I wish I found it sooner.
To have it be a part of me for much longer
Rant: Cmbyn is set to release on November. Thatâs more than 2 months away. I read the book. Twice. Back to back. Iâm probably gonna read it again next week. Itâs just.. so good.
No matter what your background is.. you are reminded of that all consuming love you felt when you were young. Some people make it. Some donât. But youâre glad that you had it at all, right? Heart break and everything.
It probably wonât release where I live so I have to wait more than all of yall who will probably go see it in the theatres first day, first show. I hate you all. But, I think a movie like that is best enjoyed with an unassuming/appreciative crowd or alone. If I see straight men make fun of two men kissing in a film in a theatre - I WILL LOSE MY SHIT. I CANâT BE BOTHERED BY THINGS LIKE THAT.
I accidently read some spoilers and I know its all over tumblr and Iâm avoiding it like the plague. But the irrational part of my brain is telling me to go look for it. Fuck you.
I think whatâs beautiful about Elio and Oliver is that no matter what their lives always revolve around each other

Elioâs Summer â83 Playlist
So I decided to curate a list of songs Elio might have listened to during the summer of 1983 because I absolutely love making playlists and it was fun to research what songs were popular around that time in Europe and in the U.S. I am a huge fan of 80s music anyway, so, enjoy!
