When Blaze sees her lifeless body, first there's denial, then his lower lips starts to tremble and he bursts into tears despite the fact he'd never cried in his life before now. It would be then that he decides to hold her, and confesses his feelings, though they fall on deaf ears, and he knows its too late.

Her body was blanketed in crimson, obvious places where ribs were cracked, head wounds, lacerations, bruises. What had been done to her was a mystery, but it was apparent she hadn’t gone down without a fight. Blaze’s tears fell over her bloodied features, what had happened was tragic, especially for those close too her. Who else may come looking for her was troublesome, just who else would ask where she had disappeared to?
