It’s a nice bagel laugh though! Like a warm bagel that comes out fresh from the oven and when you rip into the bagel it’s soft and crispy! It’s like hon hon hon. Not HONHONHON!

The park was almost completely deserted, save for a few trainers and kids running around, Sitting on a lone bench, Kouki smiled gently as he watched the kids playing with the Pokemon that lived in the park. The sight made him smile brightly. It almost reminded him of himself when he had been much younger, too young to go out by himself on a journey. His friends and him had always played with the Pokemon that resided in the lake near their town. Although, his mom didn't really like that too much, given the fact that she had always been overprotective of him. Not to mention, he had started to go silent during those times. 

The smile on Kouki's face fell somewhat at that thought and he gazed down at his lap, where his board was sitting. It seemed like so long ago when he had started depending on his white board to communicate with other people. He no longer talked, not even when he was by himself or with his Pokemon. But somehow, it didn't bother him or his partners at all. They both had gotten used to it, in fact. Now, it was just a way of life. 

So caught up in his thoughts, Kouki didn't see the new person who had walked into the park, walking down the dirt path towards him. He didn't notice them until they stopped right in front of him. Blinking his eyes for a moment, Kouki gazed up at the stranger for a moment. 

Tilting his head a bit in question, Kouki gazed back down towards his board. He then moved his eyes right back towards the person. He wasn't sure what the person wanted, so he decided to ago ahead and ask. Pulling out his pen, he began writing on his board. Once he was finished writing, it held it up for the person to see. 

“W-WHAT.”

Walking back in Aspertia was like a breath of fresh air. It felt as though it had been centuries since he had been back in his hometown. He really needed to come and visit his family more often. Because he was pretty sure that hanging around in Virbank for a long time wasn't good for him. 

Before heading home, Kyouhei decided to go to his favorite place in the city. It was his quiet spot for thinking whenever he was stressed out. Taking a right turn, Kyouhei immediately started walking up the steps leading to the lookout. 

He climbed up the stairs in a few minutes, finally walking out onto the outstretched platform. However, he came to a stop when he saw someone already there. Furrowing his eyebrows, Kyouhei walked closer. 

It was a female with a puffy orange coat and a large green hat. She had bright blonde hair that seemed as thick as her coat. Her back was to him and she hadn't turned around yet, so she much not have noticed him yet. Coughing awkwardly, Kyouhei walked closer until he was standing next to the female.
