How the fuck does anyone do anything
Literally when I do the dishes it feels like I need to suit up with goddamn rainboots and a raincoat
Like how does water get literally everywhere
Or rather how do you people not have this problem

Every time you drop your keys when you AREN’T fleeing from a monster or a zombie horde or whatnot, you’re using up one of your lifetime key-drops and making yourself less likely to drop them in some future peril!
I really dislike when people tell me to be careful with my bare feet when there is broken glass on the ground, which happens often around me because I'm very clumsy. Like, do you think maybe I know that glass is sharp. Just maybe. I've picked up on that idea.

It takes me a few seconds before I realise what's wrong with my laptop when I open it. My eyesight seems fuzzy, hazy. But it's not my eyes that are the problem - it's my laptop's screen.
Because tiny little black horizontal lines are all across it.
It fell off the couch, earlier. It was closed. I was lying down and I must have accidentally pushed it to the edge. It's not a big fall - I've definitely dropped it from a larger height before.
I really need to be more careful with my stuff. I can already hear the disappointment in my parents' voices and they don't even know yet.
It's still usable but it's kind of irritating, to be honest. I will see if I get used to it, and if not... Well. We'll cross that bridge.
I had three things to do today. A job interview with a temp agency in the morning, which thankfully was online. Bringing some clothes to a thrift store. And going to physical therapy.
When my interview is over, I decide to check the thrift store and realise they have changed the day and time when you could bring them stuff, as well as the system. It used to be every first and third Wednesday of the month. Now it is the second Wednesday of the month.
Oh well, I think. I'll just bring them to another thrift store instead. And then I don't have to go out today. If I have a reason not to leave my house, I often take it. Bad habit, I know. It's winter, okay.
Fast forward a few hours. I've received an e-mail from a couple who want to possibly adopt my two scaredy-cat foster kittens. When might they come for a visit?
What have I got going on this week, I think to myself. Oh, right, physical therapy. And that's when it hits me. "Oh my God," I exclaim, jumping up from my comfortable position on the couch. "I forgot to go to physical therapy!"
The plastic container on my lap flies in the air, scattering empty peanut shells all over, and so do my kittens. They had not been on my lap, but they are, as I said, scaredy-cats.
If you are made of glass and in my vicinity, you are warned. Your chances of survival have just plummeted. The probability that you will end up on the floor, in a thousand different pieces, has been raised to a dangerous level. Bottles and jars tremble in my presence.
I am the queen of shattered glass.
