BG, please, I beg you, please, that's all I ask of you, please, post a new post on the ask.fm account, please, I beg you.
I know you mean Ask Cueball, I'm not gonna be silly about the misspelling this time.
What I will do is use this as a chance to remind everybody that asking, begging, and demanding an artist to hurry up and do something that they had been working on for free, on their own time, and out of their own enjoyment is considered very rude. Rushing the creator for updates is more likely going to discourage the artist from continuing that project at ALL, because they're feeling pressured, and are being given negative responses in regards to the project, causing them to associate the project with said negativity. At it's worst, it can cause the creator to leave the community altogether - recently, an extremely popular Sonic fancomic reached completion, and the artist said now that it was done that they were leaving Sonic for good because of the amount of rude comments demanding updates.
I have stated multiple times recently that I still plan to continue Ask Cueball, just not right now. Why? Well, I'm an adult working two jobs, and doing several side jobs on top of it all to make ends meet. I'm busy. I am also disabled - sometimes my hands stop working for weeks to the point I can barely get myself food, let alone draw. Imagine your hands hurting so bad you can't even hold a sandwich. For weeks. I also simply have other projects that are bigger priority right now, because they are large collaborative projects that people are actively relying on me for, or are projects I'm actively paid to do, instead of a solo project that I do for free on my own time.
If you want to be encouraging toward updates for projects like these, consider the following:
DON'T: When's the next update? Why has it been so long? Hurry up and post!
DO: I'm so excited for the next update! I can't wait to see what happens next!
I'm not saying all this to be mean - I just want to educate, because I think that you genuinely just didn't realize it was rude, and were just excited! You're far from the only person I get demanding I continue that comic, this isn't targeted at only you.
TL;DR - I will continue Ask Cueball when I am able. Please stop asking, it's rude and just makes me want to stop working on it.
