Just saying, I still Think TedxClover could be a cute ship:

Hi everybody.  So I was having a lovely conversation with I-loves-my-lemurs.  Please show them some love and support, they put lots of effort into their posts, and their fanfiction.  

At some point during the conversation, we came up with a cute little idea.  I mentioned before on one of my reblogs that I thought that TedxClover would make for a cute ship.  Which, I understand that its pretty canon that Ted’s gay (Or at least Bi with STRONG male interest.)  But, I still thought it would be cute, here are a few reasons why:

1. Ted, and Clover have just enough similarities and differences.  They’re both kind of silly, and dorky (Clover would never admit this about herself.)  They also both have a flair for the theatrical.  Although Clover is of course much braver, tougher, and far more aggressive than Ted.  But it would make for a very adorable contrast.  

2. They do share similar colors.  This is pretty superficial, but I like it anyway.

3. If I recall Ted liked her books.  It would be really sweet to see him help her come up with ideas or something like that.

4. This picture:

(She does look disgusted by his mere existence, but its still cute I think.  Look at his face.)

5. The way he looks at her here:

(In context he’s just being sarcastic.  But taken out of context it looks like he’s deeply in love.)

6. Ted did seem to be into Crimson, and of course, Clover has similar features.

7. Some of their interactions as captain, and assistant captain of the ringtail guard, I found to be quite adorable.  

But anyway, the plot basically revolves around King Julien doing more fashion stuff, and someone’s counterfeiting him.  So he has Clover investigate, with Ted, because Ted has had past experience in that.  Basically they’ll do their thing, Clover starting out annoyed by everything Ted does, but with Ted she’ll eventually warm up to him a bit, and notice some of their similarities, and then eventually they’ll fall in love.  Ted can help Clover explore her softer side, and help her see there’s nothing wrong with it.  I was the thinking of calling it, “The Captain, and Her Assistant.”  But I don’t know if I like it or not.  I plan on it being told from Clover’s perspective.  

Also, keep in mind, this takes place in a separate timeline were Ted never married Dorothy, you know, so that he’s not cheating on his wife.
