I loved the laughing post! Could you tell us some of your favorite headcanons you have for Maul? Wether it be sfw or lemony?

from what I gather from the different novels and my personal head cannons
I find maul to be a very curious person, he is intrigued by what others find precious however given who was raised to be uses this to his advantage to study and turn against them.
Apart from that he is curious about the things he discovers on his missions, taking a moment to study and make a note of it. He will look into it more later, if he can.
Pretty sure he has a literal notebook somewhere and writes observations as well as some sketches about the things he saw on his travels, he is careful to keep these hidden. As a boy Sidious found some of his notes he had in his room and made maul burn them one by one. A bug he had seen, a droid design, the words he recalls others speaking to him in dathomirian.
Only sleeps enough to get him through the day, and that’s if he is able to as he gets older this lessens and lessens. On lotho minor he does not dare sleep, plagued by nightmares and his failures. On mandalore he sleeps, it is not a restful sleep again to sustain but he twists and turns screaming at the pain of when he was torn down. His legs ache and he just curls up and refuses to shut his eyes.
Does not like the dark, if y’all ever read Wrath of Darth Maul you know maul either had a window or no windows in his room. He had no escape from the torture of Sidious trainings. And on lotho minor he was literally underground with no light beside the fire he had to keep adding to so it would not go dark. Things tended to linger in the shadows. On mandalore he searches each room, the duchess’s had a flair for a room with stained glass windows and a balcony where the moonlight shone in. Maul takes it and for once is fine when the sun leaves its place in the sky, the moonlight leaves no shadows in this room. No place for shadows to grow.
Likes mediating outside especially now in his new domain, feeling the sun on his skin and hearing his brother once again fall asleep beside him.
Tendency to only eat the bare minimum and doesn’t care what it tastes like. His brother is the one who now pulls away the ration bar and pushes the plate of cut meats toward him instead. It’s a wonder why he hasn’t passed out yet.
Is unsure of what to make of his appearance, either people get frightened or just look awestruck. On mandalore it seems to be a bit of the latter and is often followed around by some the death watch who run after savage is he’s is not around. Odd....
Modified the droids he acquires, it’s something to take his mind off things and he programs them to be his friends. However doesn’t quite know what a friend is so they are programmed to obey and self destruct if they fail.
Wonders what his name was once,savage doesn’t know either. The brothers are still unsure about the other, maul doesn’t know how he should act at times and savage is not used to being unable to wrestle down a sibling for fun or not talking in jest. It’s a slow process but at least neither brother is alone and controlled anymore.
