I’m tired of wanting him to say something. I’m tired of waiting for a spark that’s not going to happen. I’m tired of trying to be someone’s dream girl. I don’t want to check his profile everyday, I don’t want to ask my friends what he’s said all the time. what I DO want to do, is do things for me and only me. I want to live without constantly peering over at him trying to see if he’s looking at me. I’m done trying to fall in love. I’m done trying to create some fantasy in my head, where everything turns out perfect, and he says exactly what I need to hear at the right moment. love comes at its own time.

there is one person in my life who has never left, who has always helped me back up, who never fails to make me smile. they will always stand with me and will help to comfort me on my darkest days. that person is someone i will be eternally grateful to. that person is me.
