So excited that I was able to hang this painting “Light After the Storm” at Mark Arts. The whole painting measures 14 1/2 feet high 36 feet long, and I had help from over 225 members of the community in creating this. Used between 15 and 20 gallons of color.

Spring is coming... This tornado was documented on May 6, 2015. The thing that keeps chasing interesting is that every storm is different. We were about a mile from this tornado touching down and we (incorrectly) predicted the tornado would continue moving ENE which would allow us to get a really close intercept a couple of miles down the road. The storm was moving ENE after all -- however due to weaker upper level winds the tornado took a highly deviant left track and it basically went due north.
