Okay, so Blues was probably going to lecture him for a while once he realized what Rock was up to, but this was important. Word had gradually reached through the lab that Time Man had come online again, and a ping from his dog had confirmed just that. As soon as the prototype DLN had turned his back, the youngest of the brothers had made his escape in a very slow, awkward, and painful beeline for their brother’s room.
...It was a miracle Blues hadn’t caught him.
Now that he’s arrived, though, Rock is unsure of how to proceed. He wanted to see his older brother already, but should he just walk in? Should he knock? Would Time want to see him, or did he want his privacy? Rock’s well aware that while his brother had opened up a bit over the years, that had been mostly towards Oil Man.
Well, at least now that he knew his brother was online, he could take Rush back and give him real privacy. With that in mind, the little DLN knocks on the door, voicing his presence with a hesitant “Time Man?”
Meanwhile, on Time’s side of the door, the support unit has gone from dozy to alert. He’s staring at the door now, tail wagging a mile a minute at the sound of the voice.
