“Magni is the closest person I have to a brother. If there is anyone in the world I can trust, it’s him. He may not believe it, but he is a good man who deserves only the best things. He’s loyal, caring, and fiercely protective. When we both first joined the crew, we were both quiet, but I was eager to learn. He seemed like the kind of guy who had knowledge I wanted. So, I followed him around. A lot. I talked at him nonstop. Not once did he threaten to (or actually) throw me overboard. Instead, he eventually opened up, and my life has been better for it.”

“Oh, Magni. Of all the people I’ve met, not just on the Serpent but in my travels, he’s the person who has grown the most. He didn’t speak when he first joined the crew and now he’s Quartermaster! And speaks to everyone! It’s wonderful to see and fitting for such a wonderful man. Who would have thought under all that muscle there is the softest heart? And boy are those some muscles. Ahem, anyway, I’m thankful to know him. He gives me hope. Not to mention he’s a great drinking buddy. What more could you ask for?”

“Magni means so much to me. He’s the only person that knows about my mother. Whenever I’m sad he comforts me. He lets me sleep in his bunk when I do decide to get sleep. I’d do anything for him and I believe he’d do anything for me. I honestly don’t know how the ship would run without him. That’s not a dig on Jax or anything, I just know he matters to so many of us. I’ve always felt that the heart is an infinite, ever loving thing, and Magni is a perfect example of that.”
