Cupid’s match is:

Kakyoin!

This 5’10” sweetheart is the perfect match for Cupid!! First of all, Nori is an artsy boi!! He would adore that Cupid dyes her hair (who knows, maybe he’d dye the noodle too bc of it??) and be really curious about the contacts, asking about how she got started wearing them, the meaning behind them, etc. 

Kakyoin is also really quiet at first interactions, but opens up to those he bonds with (*coughs* pantsu fistbump with PolPol). Once he knows that he’s wanted in the relationship, his weird energy comes out (RERO! 🍒). Cupid’s outgoing personality would help Nori open up more, and he would listen attentively to whatever she’s excited about. He’d watch her eyes sparkle and light up as she rambles on about her newest obsession, enchanted.

Kakyoin is very good at masking his feelings, so Cupid’s attentiveness would actually be helpful and healthy. Even he doesn’t realize how much he’s holding in and pushing down, until Cupid would ask if he was okay and all the feelings would come spilling out. 

Also a fan of traveling (see also: family was in Egypt when he met Dio… Went on the entire Stardust trip…), Kakyoin would share in Cupid’s love for culture. They’d always be looking up some foreign place they want to go next and researching everything they can learn about said location.

Kakyoin isn’t as much into acting on anger, but instead protecting the people he loves. He’d back up Cupid’s anger, though!! If someone had wronged her, he’d immediately come to her defense. He wouldn’t step in unless absolutely necessary, though, knowing that she’s fully capable of defending herself. (He’d probably ask for translations of the swears though so he knows how she’s feeling heheh)

Finally, Nori would be very aware of physical boundaries. He, like every hero in Araki’s stories, is a true gentleman. He’s been touch starved himself, being alone for most of his life, and would treat every interaction with Cupid as special. They start off slow when it comes to holding hands or hugging, but eventually warm up, finding that they enjoy and savor their time together. Nori does his best to abide by a moral code, probably more neutral good than lawful good, but he would never criticize Cupid for her strict moral policies. He’d be interested in why she acts as she does and be reassured when she explains the reasoning behind her beliefs.

Their first date was a chance meeting while traveling. The two ended up next to each other at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Tokyo during busy hours. Though shy at first, the two began a conversation about the food, finding it a good topic to segue into other details about their lives. With time to chat, the two discovered they had much in common and traded numbers to continue talking! (Honestly, modern gamerboi Kakyoin would probably have discord chat too haha so they’d probably connect there as well!). If Cupid was a gamer, Kakyoin would ask for her Nintendo gamer code and connect so that they could play games together!
