HOW TO BE MORE KIND ( LIKE REALLY)
So here's a blog about how to be kinder these days we see thousands of tips on how to be prettier, hotter, etc and even though appearance is important what's inside is even more so. So here are some tips that helped me a lot I was a temperamental child, and even though it was due to trauma, it really made life difficult for those around me, so yeah, I know exactly what I'm talking about.
1. the intention counts as the deed
Here, I want you to understand that even if someone does or says something clumsy, try to understand their intention rather than their action. Some people are naturally bad at expressing themselves, even when they're genuinely trying to do good. So instead of getting upset over an awkward joke or a poorly chosen gift, try to appreciate the person's intention behind it. This will allow you to be kinder and truly appreciate people
2. everyone has a different sensitivity
This point is very important and well-known. Indeed, everyone has different sensitivities and levels of empathy. You might find that someone's emotions are exaggerated in the face of a situation you consider trivial, but everyone experiences things differently. You might find some people overly sensitive, but that's their feeling, and instead of judging and dismissing it as trivial, you must understand that if a situation makes someone cry, it means they are truly affected, and you must accept this feeling and not minimize it ( DO NOT MINIMIZE SOMEONE FEELING cuz it's make people feel misunderstood and it invalid their feeling)
3 . as long as it helps you sleep better at night
I chose this title because it's the phrase I always use ( hehe β‘ ) to express that as long as someone's actions don't negatively impact anyone, you shouldn't judge them and should let them do what makes them happy. I avoid sharing my personal opinions on my blog, but I believe that as long as a religion, belief, or practice doesn't negatively impact anyone, you shouldn't judge them and should let them be and do what makes them happy I think everyone has their own way of seeing things and living their life. Even if you don't share the same opinion, why be mean to someone? This tip is the most important because it literally cultivates empathy for the differences in others
4. you know they name, but not their story
She's not mean she's unhappy" We tend to quickly label someone as bad or cruel just by looking at their attitude, and yes, I know some people really do have horrible attitudes. But instead of judging the person, judge their behavior. Instead of saying "this girl is bad," say "this girl has a bad attitude." Indeed, people can seem mean on the surface, but have you thought about what might have made them that way? Some people have lived incredibly difficult lives, more than you can imagine. So instead of being devoid of empathy for these people, try to see beyond their tough exterior. I'm not saying to accept their behavior; trauma explains a behavior but doesn't justify it. I'm just saying that a little compassion for them would be appreciated.
This is the end of this blog. I honestly loved writing it. I also want to point out that nobody's perfect; things aren't always black and white. Life is made up of different shades of gray, so even if you're not always nice to others, that's normal because we're human. The important thing is to improve, not to achieve perfection. Having huge problems with being overwhelmed myself, I'm not always pleasant to those around me, but I try, and that's what counts.
