Thereās just SOMETHING about the old terrain generation that I love and miss. I really wish there was a biome in vanilla Minecraft that just recreates the old terrain generation and colors.
Can you imagine? Youāve been passing through giant hills and mountains, through underground passages and deep dark biomes, through trial chambers and pale gardensā¦ then suddenly on your travels you step out of a massive cave system into the lightā¦
ā¦and suddenly youāre home.

Now that Mojang is taking player feedback into consideration and changing the Loadstoneās recipe to be affordable and convenient:
I thought itās about time to bring up the two things I want MOST in a future update to Minecraft.
1. I want chiseled bookshelves to display the name of the book if you hover over it with your cursor.
I know this is possible with mods, but I donāt wanna deal with mods this should be in the vanilla game! I have ADHD. Once I put a book in a bookshelf itās essentially gone cuz Iāll never remember what book it was and the ONLY way to check is to take it out and put it back constantly.
Also, Iām building a library and it would be REALLY HELPFUL if you could just browse the shelves like a real library and pull the correct books from the shelves as you peruse it.
2. A āClassicā terrain biome.
I just think if you made a biome that mimicked what we loved about classic Minecraft, youād get a lot of classic Minecraft players being able to enjoy the newer version and vice versa.
Again, I know this is possible with mods, but I donāt wanna deal with mods. I think a biome that looks like this would be PERFECT for modern Minecraft.
God can you imagine? Youāre playing your new version and you just got out of a pale garden with the creaking and youāre traveling up and down mountains that stretch to the heavens and wandering under cherry blossom hills and then suddenlyā¦ all of the grass turns neon, the terrain gets shorter and broken up, the seas turn barren and the landscape is dotted with just oak trees and nothing else. Not even short or tall grass. Suddenly youāre just.. back home.
My browser crashed as I was playing mc classic, and when I re-opened it, the game formed new terrain but kept everything i placed where it was, and BOOM, magic floating roses! So beautiful!
