#class week

Instead of a species, this week we’ll be looking at another aspect of TRPGs: Class.

“Which class? Necromancers?” You might think so, but let’s zoom out a bit. There’s some important ground to cover first.

I am writing my own tabletop Tabletop RPG, and I want to hear from You:

What is a character class?

What does “class” mean in an RPG context? What does it mean mechanically? What does it mean story-wise? What does being a member of a class mean for a character? For a player? For the game?

What is the purpose of character classes? What games use classes in ways you like or find interesting? What games use classes in ways you find un-fun, detrimental to gameplay, or just nonsensical?

Went to Nishi's room to get my note/pass, and got Steph's and Ed's to drop them off.

Showed the note to Serino, and she said Carganilla was impressed with me. I was just like, "How do you know?" And she said she was there in the meeting with Carganilla, and so I guess Serino was there and Carganilla announced it to them. Watched Into the Wild. Gosh, Chris is a lunatic. Liking the movie so far.

Highlight:Serino trying to cover up some boobs on the movie but fails to do so.

Went to period 2, and we had Mr. Sharma. So, chill day. Got out of class to use to bathroom and went to Nishi's to talk about what happened. We're gonna fundraise huli huli chicken. And then took the ukulele, went back. And then left again, did some shit class work I don't even understand.

Set up for class week- Foodeating Contest: Winners were Janine and Mitchell.

Wasn't really feeling it today. I was just fucking sad, I don't know. I am so bipolar sometimes. Maybe it was cus I thought about you again. I miss you.

Stayed at Nishi's for Period 3 to do some homework and studying. And left afterwards to Schubert. Did quick DIADS. And yeah.

A quiz for Yamada's. Stupid last problem irritated me.

After school, we made cotton candy~ It was a lot of fun, ahah. Magaoay bought me plate lunch from Yummy's omg and I shared with Ed because she didn't eat lunch either.

Highlight:Playing this cotton candy game with people, getting and eating cotton candy from each other's mouth lol omg I hope no one gets sick. lol.

We ate so much cotton candy.

I pretty much missed the whole day. I stayed in Nishi's room, along with Ed and Steph.

During period 1, Maga, Nishi, and us three went upstairs to talk about what happened with the "missing" money. Carganilla was supposed to be at school for a meeting with us three, Nishi and Magaoay but his car wasn't park outside.

During period 2, I made a flowchart of the story about our money. Me and Steph were making Tyga growls, and we kept laughing nonstop because it sounds like someone just choked on gum and was trying to puke it out. And then, we find that Carganilla was here, so we printed out a copy of the proposal and four different copies of a diagram/flowchart I created. Nishi had a period 2 to take care of so it was just a three-man army.

Me, Steph, Ed headed down to the main office. I asked Ms. Azama if she could disturb Carganilla's own meeting. He comes out and we enter Andres's room. Steph introduced us and the problem, and I read the proposal. As I read through the proposal, Ed started crying, and I could hear her sniffles lol. I tried to contain myself. And then suddenly, Steph starts crying. I gave the proposal to Edelyn to read the other half. After she read it, and hearing both of Steph and Ed crying made me all teary-eyed.

I noticed that Carganilla was all teary-eyed, and bloodshot-eyed. And then he said that he was once a Farrington student too, and he had a prom. And he said that there was no way in cancelling prom because we had put our hard work and dedication towards it for a year. After that, I respected him so much. I didn't want to assume anything tho. But then, he said he would find a way to let us borrow money. After that, I felt like I had wings, because I felt a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. And Ed and Steph started crying but I tried to keep my composure.

"Hohhh, these kids making me emotional."

We left the room, and went up to Nishi's, feeling all dumbfounded and still shocked. I picked up Nishi's phone from his dad, and when I came back, she was in tears. I came up, and she just started bawling, so I just went to hug her. It was finally over. And then she called Magaoay up, and Magaoay told her that the in-voice was dropped to 25,000. And then on, Nishi cried even more, and me Steph Ed were just gdskjlgdk about this whole thing. We could finally breathe. Prom was on.

It was her period 3, so she was all bloodshot-eyed teaching her class lol. When I came in, Aiden runs to me saying he wanted to make me feel better, and hugs me. The three of us were just hanging out in the back, doing tables. And then, suddenly, Steph falls off the chair and made a huge commotion and I just put my head down, laughing. omg. Steph. And as we were doing tables, the bell rang, and Aiden comes outta nowhere and hugs me for the second time, this time, even tighter. Awkward. Us three stayed during lunch time finishing table arrangements.

Polivka comes in the room, and he throws a raisinete at Ed's forehead and she punches him lol omg proud of you Ed!

Period 4 starts and I just didn't even feel like going. So me and Ed decided to stay and Steph left. WE WERE EMOTIONALLY DRAINED -______- I wouldn't even focus with math if I went! And so we played the Grouping Game but there were so much joykills in there. Freshmen were boring.
