Classes Part 2b: The Rogue
We all know and love the rogue, I am not sure we need to even talk about the nature of the rogue. So the question is this, in my game, is the rogue any different? How can we improve it? Well on the rogue end of things
1) Sneak attacks apply to undead, constructs, and stuff like that. And you can use sneak attacks with most weapons all levels.
2) Rogues get an extra abiliyt, back stab, which they can only use on a target who is not ready for combat at all, which just doubles their damage. Undead, constructs and what not are immune to that
3) A massive amount of special non magical abilities they gain access to each level, to make them more useful and versatile
And on the other end of things, decreasing the ability of other classes to use simple spells to invalid the rogue helps a great deal.
I don’t know what needs to be said, the rogue is pretty cool as it is now. I really just need to bump it from tier 4 to tier 3, which is again my ideal point for classes
