I get to see my girlfriend today and I’m so excited I’m going to jump out of my skin. 

My girlfriend brushed and plaited my hair this morning on a whim and I’m all aflutter about it in my heart. I’ve been wanting to have hair long enough to plait for years and it’s finally happened.

We’ve been seeing each other for over a year now (and basically lived together for a month at the beginning of the year) but this weekend I finally hit the milestone of leaving some of my things at my girlfriend’s place, so that’s neat. That’s a neat thing.

It was a year ago today that my girlfriend and I went on our first date. I could not have imagined such a wonderful year as the one I’ve just had with her, and I am feeling so, so fortunate and loved. 

No romo but I get to see my girlfriend tomorrow and I’m so excited. It’s been a literal week since I’ve seen her and that’s like, seven days too many.

My girlfriend arrives at the station in just over an hour and I’m so excited. This has been the longest week of my life, probably.

It’s real loving my girlfriend hours around here, twenty-four seven. 

OKAY SO it’s just occurred to me that my girlfriend is going to be living around the corner and if I want, I can write her a little love letter or a set of tiny poems every other day and put it in her mailbox as I’m walking out to get groceries or going to see a friend. Gosh!
