I had this with a whole series: Villainous Nights. When the concept was first posited in a survey, I voted against it. We already had crime series, and dating the stereotypical take-over-the-world supervillain didn’t appeal to me. Then Villainous Nights premiered and revealed itself to be “Destroy Capitalism Nights” and I jumped on that train and never got off. Andi and Renzei are my favorites.

As for a single character: Elliot Graham in Speakeasy Tonight. I literally turned to my wife like “Why am I having feelings for this hunk?? I didn’t give myself permission for that!! Why???” [high octave screech]

Havenfall!!!! Are there terrifying goop monsters, portals to Hell, and murderous ex’s?? Yes!!! And that’s only JD’s route! Counter-point tho, and hear me out: I get to be a werewolf.

I would like a Hope coconut friend please. Would also like to chat with pucks.

10) what’s your hearts spending like? only for one li? impulsive buying? the tough f2p grind?

I’m strictly free-to-play on Lovestruck. Unlike in apps like Choices or Chapters, missing out on Heart scenes doesn’t affect the story, and the writers take pains to not make it too painful to miss out. The plot make sense. MC is still badass, and there’s plenty of kisses and affection.

The Heart quests are a life-saver: before, you had to pay for the whole route or wait until you finished one of the puzzles! I can collect Hearts easy. I usually spend them on shorts, since those are easy to re-visit, but for special occasions I unlock a whole season. Right now, I’m working on unlocking all of Mackenzie’s wedding and honeymoon seasons, for example.

28) underrated route you’re just BEGGING everyone to read or ask for?

Overall, I’m really proud of fandom’s consistent call for more queer routes and characters of color! Lovestruck does have a racism and colorism problem. The white hair + white skin characters exhaust me. Characters’ ethnicity aren’t acknowledged in text enough and/or the Voltage upper management consistently chooses paler skin tones for the characters, such as GiL MC (Hispanic) and Castaway MC (I’ve heard Native Hawaiin/Kanaka Maoli and Indian: what is the truth?). Lucien’s debut was a whole thing, because the artists couldn’t draw his skin tone correctly. Smarter people than me have talked about this, and I’m glad to be here to boost and witness.
