❛❛     ...   AND WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO GET AT?      ❜❜       quip is unthinking.     movement instinctive,  gravitating toward the counter displaying uneaten food,  utensils,  and napkins   (  some of which have scattered to the ground  ).     IT'S ALWAYS QUESTIONS WITH DEARING.     choosing words over brute force.     at the most unconventional times too.     at least,  that is what it feels like  ;  they've only come face - to - face one other time,  just earlier today,  in which she asked a fruitless query similar to now.     it's aggravating,  nonetheless,  her stalling.     though isn't she doing the same— this deflection?     it lingers in her mind like a pesky fly during a conference.     it's provacative,  it practically begs her to participate,  and her mind does,  just for a brief moment,  and that alone makes her feel insulted.     from behind,  soyona chucks the first thing she sees at her combatant :     a coffee pitcher.     MISSES.     and like that of her question,  it hits the wall with a metallic ring.

“    okay,    ”    sam  says  into  the  apple  crisp  wisp  of  autumn  air.    the  temperature  matches  the  cool  slate  spanning  the  skies.    it’s  all  cider,  crinkling  leaves,    &    shades  of  smoldering  summer  burning  its  last,  whispering  cheer.    sam  slouches  out  of  one  sleeve  of  her  jacket,  then  the  other,  before  holding  it  out  on  the  hook  of  her  fingertip  toward  @cl2ire​​.    “    i  knew  it  was  going  to  get  cold,  but  ...  i  should  have  told  you  to  bring  a  jacket.    ”    /  sc.

For Melina: Natasha of course, Sharon, Janet For Peggy: Sharon, Steve, and Tony. For Eloise: Sam, Tony, Steve.  But also, anyone for anyone tbh lets GO! 

3 )  max  guevara  -  ok  this  one  is  interesting  bc  max  is  basically  a  science  experiment  in  a  similar  way  to  the  dinos.  she’s  a  genetic  cocktail  of  human  and  animal  dna.  so  either  crossover  verse,  there’s  sort  of  this  distrust  of  scientists  and  idk  i  think  that  tension  could  make  for  a  dynamic  or  interesting  partnership  if  cornered  into  needing  to  achieve  a  similar  goal.  max  also  has  superhuman  strength,  speed,  etc.  sort  of  an  apex  predator,  but  maybe  not  with  dinos  around...  but  still  cool  and  handy  in  a  fight.

‟   what  is  this?   a  self  -  loathing  party?  ”      she  questions  in  amusement,   canting  her  head  just  so.   her  lip  twitches,   like  there’s  something  else  hidden  underneath  her  tongue  but  unwilling  to  split  the  lines  of  locked  jaw.     ‟   if  so,   i  think  we’d  require  a  lot  more  wine.  ”     the  avoidance  of  her  question  is  clear  as  day,   but  she  thinks  the  tentative  disregard  might  be  enough  to  let  her  off  the  hook  altogether.   though  her  inquisitiveness  beckons  her  to  follow  the  line  of  questioning,   watching  the  way  claire’s  face  twists  with  her  words.   what  version  has  she  become?   and  why  did  she  tack  dislike  onto  it?
