its So much funnier too considering how every other blight apparently took YEARS and tons of wardens to stop and then these assholes come along and handle it in a year with only 2 (technically 3 but riordan doesn’t count) new wardens, no griffons, and initially 0 backing from anyone except a swamp witch AND apparently had such an influence on thedas outside of stopping the blight that they’re still relevant 10 years later  Tbh just the fact that none of them killed each other is amazing im so proud

honestly?? its a Miracle they survived origins let alone awakening it was just several children with minimal knowledge of darkspawn, a dog, and wynne the underappreciated babysitter.  Half of the possible backgrounds have literally 0 formal training in leading anyone or managing an entire keep + the forces in it. They winged it and hoped for the best and it worked and i want to see more of that
