Good mail today. Still hard to believe I'm included among such incredible folks published in the Nevada Law Journal, current & past. Took a lot of work by many people to help make this happen for me. Thank you! And here's the tl;dr version: 1. Public Defense crisis has reached unconstitutional (6th A.) levels. 2. Fed War on Drugs, especially marijuana, devastates PD resources. 3. Fed sets PD standard but leaves states to reach while burdening with drug war. 4. U.S. should end Fed MJ prohibition & allow states to handle MJ (like PD). 5. A portion of MJ tax $ can also be used to fund PDs to reach 6th A. standard. #CiteMe
