Here in CIT-U, we value learning from seasoned professionals and gaining wisdom and valuable information through their personal experiences. Hosted by the Creative Alliance of Multimedia & Visual Arts Students, ArtShare is a webinar series that invites professionals in the creative industry to share their art journey to inspire the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts students and Technologian creatives.

This year on February 28, we celebrated  ArtShare 5.0: Digital and Fine Art Intersection featuring Golda King and Ken Hensly. These accomplished Cebuano artists shared their experiences that they used to improve their respective expertise.

Together with CAMVAS, CIT-U continues to celebrate and encourage creativity through meaningful art events such as these. Until the next one!

Art is an expression of the things that are unexpressed, art is also an impression of beauty and dazzles by the means of natural or digital prowess.

Sharing Artwork by different means allows artists to give their creative minds a space to learn and reflect on a piece of other creative minds.

Humanity wants to express itself in any way possible, the Creative Alliance of Multimedia and Visual Arts Students (CAMVAS) held this event of The World Creative and Innovation Week Celebration Virtual Exhibit from the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts (BMMA) students.

It allows artists alike to share their work and progress virtually by the means of videos and internet platforms such as Facebook with their very own Facebook Page.

Art moves us all in various ways. Whether it's through music, dance, photography, paintings, or sculptures, it lets us explore a whole new idea or remind us of one that we have already encountered. It lets us uncover the feelings we have deep inside or feel the emotions that the artist felt while creating their work. Different artists showcasing their art can have different reactions from different audiences but one thing is clear: art connects us to the artist and to other people from various parts of the world and lets us feel that we belong. Sharing and talking about our favorite artists, igniting the passion that we have for them and having the other person share that same passion, has always been a wonderful feeling. With this in mind, the Creative Alliance of Multimedia and Visual Arts Students (CAMVAS) of the Cebu Institute of Technology - University (CIT-U) held an art event where students and teachers alike are gathered together to share about their favorite artists to inspire and motivate others.

The BMMA Department's organization CAMVAS of CIT University has announced an art event catering to dedicated students who wished to roll their films and act with the character they portray.

In this art showcase event, students of the BMMA department can volunteer to create a short film of different genres from romance to comedy to horror. For those who wish to enter the spotlight or enhance their skills in filmmaking, audio editing, performance art, or multimedia art in general, this is the right place for you to go. So, grab your studio equipment and lights, camera, action!
