Isn’t it interesting that, while both reviews were (overall) positive, Reviewer #1 praised my engagement with Indigenous scholars while Reviewer #2 said nothing about that but asked why I didn’t cite White Scholar A, White Scholar B, and White Scholar C?
While I have engaged with A, B, and C in other works, I was quite deliberate with my citational practice in this piece.
Not sure yet how I’ll address this in the final version.
